Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band Eugene Concert reviews
The show was great but......"BEEHIVE SECTION NOT"
The show was amazing as always. The "Beehive" section is not worth the cost. This year I decided to the Bee-Hive section. Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band is one of the hardest working artists out there amongst the ranks of legends that have paved the way! This is where the "but" comes in. But the "Bey Stage" tickets were like $200 less than the "Beehive section", why didn't we get the A-list treatment like the people who purchased the "Bey-Stage" tickets? Aren't we the most dedicated fans? Also the "Bey-Stage" section had like a front and center view of the entire show at the front of the second stage which makes me feel that should have been the section reserve for the "Beehive"!! We were not even allowed to bring any beverages into our section as well after standing for more than 6 hours including checkin time til the show began. One girl even fainted bc she needed water, but granted she was taken care of, but I understood she didn't want to risk losing her spot to leave to go get anything. My other problem with the Beehive section, we were down in a pit and the equipment was blocking our view, which made it hard to see anything especially when Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band went down to his second stage meaning we had to watch those performances on the projector. $800 is a lot of money to watch on a projector. Then you have to fight to see with all the taller people wanting to be up front which is common; just in case he came by to touch some hands....So I hope there are adjustments made in the future. The show was great only if I was able to see it!! But again, the show was amazing but I feel like I need to see it again given I missed so much......
